One of the head coaches of Jon Jones, Mike Winkeljohn, considers that his pupil should not face major difficulties in the fight against Daniel Cormier, on July 9th, in the main attraction of UFC 200.

Jones is coming off a victory over Ovince St Preux at UFC 197 in April. Despite dominating the fight, his performance was the target of much criticism, but Winkeljohn hopes that Jones will have a more satisfactory performance against his rival.

“We already have a strategy in place. Now, it's easier in some aspects, because we continue to work on the strategy. We have been training for this fight for a while now, so it will be an easier fight for Jon”, analyzed the coach, in an interview with the “MMA Junkie” website.

Jones and Cormier have already faced each other once, in January 2015, with the former winning via unanimous decision by the judges. The two would rematch at UFC 197, but Cormier was injured and was replaced by St. Preux.
