Two big fights promise to shake up the top of the women's bantamweight and light heavyweight categories in July. The Ultimate organization plans to match duels between the former champion Holly holm and the Kyrgyz naturalized Peruvian Valentina Shevchenko and also among former challengers Glover Teixeira e Anthony Johnson for UFC Chicago.

The information was released by “UFC Tonight”, the organization's official newspaper on North American TV, on Wednesday night (04). The expectation is that the confrontation between Holm and Shevchenko will be the main fight of the event on July 23rd. The confrontation between Glover and Johnson does not yet have a confirmed position on the card, but it should possibly be the co-main fight of the night.
Holly holm shocked the MMA world in November last year by knocking out Ronda Rousey and win the bantamweight belt, but her reign was short-lived and she was ousted in March by Miesha Tate, on the same night that Shevchenko was defeated by the Brazilian Amanda nunes
.Glover and Anthony Johnson had been exchanging challenges since the Brazilian's victory over Rashad evans, in April. After beating the former champion, the Brazilian said he would like to face Johnson in a title eliminator (title eliminator) and promptly had his challenge accepted by AJ.
