“I’m going to fight Kyle Bolt at Apocalypse FC. In the main fight it will be Brett Cooper, who beat Serginho (Moraes) in the main fight of the Jungle”, said Pantcho, referring to the duel that took place on national territory in October 2009. The Tupiniquim athlete commented on how his training for the fight is going.
“The training is great. I am doing the preparation together with the Dan Henderson, who trains to fight Babalu”, he said.
With his career on the rise, Pantcho already sees opportunities in big events, but prefers to take it one step at a time.
“This part is taken care of by the Dan Henderson and Heat Sims (the fighter's managers), but they're already seeing some good things for me here. If everything continues to go well, I will have a great chance in 2011. But I have to continue learning in training and winning fights to have a chance”, he analyzed.
