Following the merger of the WEC with the UFC, several Brazilian athletes will make their Ultimate debuts in the coming months. This Wednesday, another Tupiniquim athlete knew the date and opponent for his debut in the most famous octagon in the world. The featherweight Diego nunes faces the former owner of the WEC belt, Mike Thomas Brown at UFC-125, an event that takes place on January 1st, in Las Vegas, in the United States.

Diego is a Nova União athlete and comes from a good streak of two consecutive victories in the WEC, the last one being over Tyler Toner in the 51st edition of the event. Mike Brown is also coming off a triumph, over Cole Province at the same WEC-51, held in September. Check out the UFC-125 card so far:
