Ricardo Lamas and Max Holloway face each other at UFC 199

A duel between two of the top names in the featherweight category was announced for UFC 199. The Ultimate organization confirmed that North Americans Ricardo Lamas and Max Holloway will face each other in the event scheduled for June.

Ricardo Lamas, 33 years old, has a professional record of 16 wins and four losses. Lamas comes from victory over Diego Sanchez in November last year, at the TUF America Latina 2 Finale, in Mexico.

Yes, Max Holloway, 24 years old, has a record of 15 victories and only three victories in MMA. The Hawaiian comes from an impressive series of eight consecutive victories in the Octagon, the most recent of which was over Jeremy Stephens, in December of last year.

UFC 199 takes place on June 4th, in Los Angeles (USA). In the main fight of the night, Luke Rockhold defends middleweight belt against former champion Chris Weidman. In the co-main event of the night, Dominick Cruz e Urijah faber face each other in the trilogy for the bantamweight title.
