Confirmed as next challenger for Rafael dos Anjos For the UFC lightweight belt, Eddie Alvarez is full of desire. The North American, who will fight for the title at UFC Fight Night 90, on July 7, is fully confident that he will be able to achieve his goal and establish himself in the under-70 kg division.

The fight takes place in Las Vegas (USA), two days before the historic UFC 200. The event will only be broadcast in the United States through Ultimate's online platform, Fight Pass. Even though the fight is not in the public spotlight, Alvarez was excited.
“It doesn’t matter, we are going to carry out this mission, and it will happen violently. It will be at a frenetic, violent pace. It doesn't matter the location, how the fight will be broadcast: the fight will happen and Eddie Alvarez is ready to be the next lightweight champion. Whether you like it or not”, said the challenger, in an interview with the North American website “MMA Fighting”.
This will be Dos Anjos' second title defense. The Brazilian became famous in March last year, when he beat Anthony Pettis. In December, Rafael massacred Donald Cerrone to remain champion.
