Efrain Escudero signs with Shine Fights

Light weight Ephraim Escudero is Shine Fights' newest signing. The Mexican, who was fired from the UFC after his loss to the Brazilian Charles “from the Bronx” at UFC Fight Night 22, he signed a contract today (03) with the organization. Escudero has a record of 13 wins and two losses, beating nine of his opponents by submission.

“Signing with Shine is the first step towards becoming a world champion. I’m excited to start my journey at the event,” she said.

The fighter was champion of the eighth season of reality show of the UFC, “The Ultimate Fighter“, after defeating the North American Philippe Nover in the unanimous decision of the judges. On that occasion, Escudero was part of the team coached by the Brazilian Rodrigo “Minotauro”.

Shine Fights' chief operating officer, Jason Chambers, stressed that he trusts the fighter's potential and guaranteed that Escudero will have great fights as an athlete for the organization.

 

“I am pleased that Efrain Escudero has signed with us. I believe he will make our lightweight division even more exciting,” said Chambers.

Shine Fights officials did not reveal how many fights the contract is valid for or when Escudero's debut with the organization will be.
