Both the Brazilian and the North American scored 92,9 kg. The two looked apparently serious, but then greeted each other and talked for a few seconds – something rare when it comes to UFC weigh-ins.

Other Brazilians, however, did not have calm views. Cezar Mutant and Oluwale Bamgbose exchanged taunts when they came face to face, and Bethe Correia looked at her opponent, Rachel Pennington, fixed in the eyes. However, there was not even a beginning of confusion.

Two fighters failed the official weigh-in. One of them is Darrell Horcher, appointed at the last minute as an opponent of Khabib Nurmagomedov. Even though the fight will be at a combined weight of 72 kg, the American was 0,4 kg heavier and did not hide his frustration. The other was Islam makhachev, which was just 0,2 kg above the lightweight limit.
