The Irishman's fan list Conor McGregor has just gained a strong representative: the former world boxing champion Mike Tyson. In an interview, Tyson was full of praise for the UFC featherweight champion's personality and said that the loudmouth is a bigger star than other big names in MMA, such as Jon Jones or same Ronda Rousey.

“Conor is very charismatic. O Jon Jones It's bad, but deep down he's a decent guy and very shy. On the other hand, this guy, Conor, he's the man! He reminds me of boxers from the old days, one of those guys who is in everything. He enters a place and everyone stands up. It pulls all the energy out of the room. He’s a really interesting guy,” Tyson told “Fighters Only” magazine.
“He does things that no one else is capable of doing. He's that kind of animated character, really tough. He is an exceptional fighter, but his personality is even greater than his talent. Isn't that crazy? He has this huge personality. No one in MMA has ever had a personality as big as his. A Ronda Rousey she's like a monster and even the things she does are different from what this guy does. Her personality is phenomenal!”, added the former boxer.
Conor McGregor returns to the Octagon on July 9th, in the main fight of UFC 200, against Nate diaz, in a rematch of what was his only defeat in Ultimate to date. Already Mike Tyson, despite being retired from the ring, can be seen in a digital version trying his luck in MMA. The former boxer is one of the special characters in the game “EA Sports UFC 2”.
