Dada and Kimbo fought a controversial duel on February 19, as both did not show much of their technique and physical conditioning. Despite the visible fatigue of the fighters, the fight continued until the third round, when Dada fell in the middle of the cage and lost by technical knockout.

In an interview with “The Dan LeBatard Show”, Dada, whose given name is Dhafir Harris, explained better what happened. “The heart is a muscle, so when the kidneys stop working and I keep pushing, the next thing that stops is the heart. I was dead. When you talk about the spirit leaving the body, you seeing the light, but it's not your time to go and you're brought back... That was my situation. I was declared dead, but they continued working”, he commented

Harris' recovery was slow, as he remained in the hospital for weeks. According to the fighter himself, however, his reasoning was reestablished even before his consciousness. “When a person is in a coma, be careful what you say, because the person can hear you, but cannot respond to you. I kept hearing the doctors saying they needed to open a hole in my skull to relieve the pressure on my brain, but my brothers denied it. Afterwards, they asked me to move my hand, but I couldn't. I was stuck. I screamed with all my might, but I also focused on my hands. When I moved my hands, they said it was a miracle. The doctors even ruled me out,” he added.
