The possible return of Georges St Pierre to the UFC has been talked about for a long time – practically since the Canadian retired from MMA for an indefinite period. This Tuesday (12), however, confirmation that GSP is indeed negotiating his return to the octagon came in a very unexpected way.

During the NBA match between the Toronto Raptors and Philladelphia 76ers in his home country, St. Pierre said, in an interview with TSN, that he is already talking to the Ultimate organization in order to iron out the details of his return.

“I'm on good terms with the UFC, we're talking, anything is possible, but I don't know at this point. I can't tell you everything now, I need to keep some secrets…” said the Canadian, who whispered “maybe” in the reporter's ear, when asked what his answer to the question would be.

Without fighting since November 2013, when he crashed John hendricks and shortly thereafter announced his indefinite retirement from MMA, Georges St Pierre has a professional record of 25 wins and two losses. GSP had been speculated to be part of the UFC 200 card in July, but the rumors lost strength over the last few weeks.
