'I wouldn't care if I knocked out or was knocked out by Wanderlei', says Kimbo

Kimbo Slice approved the challenge made by Wanderlei Silva and indicated that he would accept to face the Brazilian in a duel valid for Bellator, one of the main MMA organizations today.

Wanderlei, who will return from retirement in the near future, recently stated that he would accept a fight with Kimbo with open arms, as the American's style would be conducive to a spectacle for the fans. The North American showed his affection for the Brazilian, but indicated that he would accept the fight right away.

“I like Wanderlei, I think he would give me a good fight. He will want a knockout, just like I will want a knockout. Man, I wouldn't care if I got knocked out by Wanderlei, but I wouldn't care if I knocked him out too, believe me! So it would be a good fight. If he wants to fight, let him come”, said Kimbo, in an interview with the German website “GNP1.de”.

Currently suspended by the Nevada Athletic Commission for refusing to take a surprise drug test, Wanderlei cannot fight in the United States until mid-2017. Until then, the Brazilian would supposedly be authorized to fight outside the jurisdictions of North American entities, which would include the Japanese Rizin event.
