Corinthians fan and former partner of the São Paulo club, Anderson Silva now it appears to be strengthening relations with another major Brazilian club: Flamengo. This Thursday (07), Spider went to Ninho do Urubu, the red-black team's training center, and, fully uniformed, took the opportunity to prepare for the fight against Uriah Hall at UFC 198.
“It’s the first time I’ve been to Ninho do Urubu, even though I live very close by. I came to know CEP FLA through my doctor, Dr. Márcio Tannure (club doctor). I really liked what I found, the structure is really good and I'm very grateful to Flamengo for opening the doors for me, I'm very happy with everything I accomplished here today”, said the fighter.
In one of the images, Anderson appears on an exercise bike while a group of children who play for the club's youth teams follow him through the window. In the caption of the photo, the former champion thanked his little fans for their love. “New generation of Flamengo, thank you for your affection”, said Spider.
After being defeated by Michael Bisping last February, in London (England), Anderson Silva will return home and make his return to the octagons in Brazil on May 14th. On the date, Spider faces the “Ambulance Man” Uriah Hall on the main card of UFC 198, an event scheduled for Arena da Baixada, Atlético-PR's stadium with capacity for more than 45 thousand fans, in Curitiba (PR).
