“I don’t see any evolution in him. He has already adapted to the division, but I don't see any progress. He continues with the same game, the same movements. I respect him, but I am capable of getting there and beating him again”, said Aldo, in a chat with the press in Rio de Janeiro.

Furthermore, the man from Manaus also ridiculed Edgar's recent comments, who said he thought he could win by knockout since the first fight between them had been so even and, according to him, for some, Aldo's victory would have been contested. "Are you kidding me? You're kidding me, right? No chance... I didn't even watch that fight again because I know I won easily. I won this fight using just one arm, my left. I don't where he saw that. You can say he won the fifth round and that's it, but I won the other four. I won the fight, without a doubt”, he guaranteed.

José Aldo e Frankie Edgar they duel on the main card of UFC 200, on July 9, at the brand new T-Mobile Arena, in Las Vegas (USA). In the main fight of the event, Conor McGregor faces Nate diaz, in a rematch of his only defeat in the Octagon to date. Regardless of the outcome of the confrontation, Dana White has already guaranteed that McGregor will have to face the winner of Aldo x Edgar, future interim featherweight champion, in his next fight.
