Chris Leben arrested in Hawaii

Known worldwide for putting on good fights and getting involved in major controversies, the North American Chris Leben He's a suspect in yet another mess. This Thursday, several foreign vehicles reported that the fighter was arrested for driving under the influence of toxic substances, after suffering an accident with his vehicle in the city of Honolulu, Hawaii. The incident happened last Tuesday (19) and the athlete was released after paying bail of one thousand dollars.

 

PUBLICITY:

This is the second time that Leben has been detained on suspicion of drug use. Last year, the fighter was detained and prevented from facing Michael Bisping at UFC-85, in June 2008, where the duel was postponed and only took place at UFC-89, in October of the same year.

The fighter must provide clarifications about what happened on November 22nd. If convicted, Chris could have problems for his fight, scheduled for January 1, 2011, against Brian Stann.
