Mario Yamasaki, center, is present at FCF 5
One of the most important referees in the UFC, the biggest MMA tournament in the world, Brazilian Mario Yamasaki confirmed his presence at the fifth edition of First Class Fight, which takes place this Saturday, October 23, at the Mauro Pinheiro gym, in Ibirapuera.
A jiu-jitsu and judo instructor in the United States, where he has been based since the early years of Ultimate and already owns an important network of martial arts academies, Yamasaki will take advantage of his time in Brazil to attend the FCF 5 card, which will feature important MMA names in the country, such as Paul Philo, star of the extinct PRIDE and who will fight in the main fight against Marco Antonio Pezão.
“It's an honor to welcome a guy like master Mario Yamasaki, who is recognized worldwide as one of the main characters in the history of MMA and UFC. I'm sure he'll really enjoy the fights he'll watch. The level is very high and the fighters are very tough”, stated Roberto Godoi, creator and organizer of the FCF.
