The first day of ticket sales for UFC 198 was a real success. According to information provided by the organization, 32 thousand tickets were sold in a few hours this Wednesday (30), with practically all sectors already sold out for the event on May 14th.
From 10 am this Wednesday, tickets began to be sold to the general public both at physical points and online. At the beginning of the week, the first tickets were sold only to members of Atlético Paranaense, the club that owns the Arena da Baixada, home of the attraction.
At the end of the afternoon, the website “live pass”, responsible for selling tickets online, made new batches of tickets available. It is expected that, in total, 45 thousand tickets will be sold for the fight night.
UFC 198 promises to be the biggest event ever held on Brazilian soil. In the main fight of the night, Fabricio Werdum defends the heavyweight belt against Stipe Miocic. The attraction will also feature a duel Vitor belfort x Ronaldo Jacare, in addition to the participation of Anderson Silva, Mauritius Shogun, Chris Cyborg, Demian Maia e Rogério Minotouro.
