After shining in jiu-jitsu, Murilo Santana expects difficult debut in MMA

One of the best jiu-jitsu fighters in Brazil today, Murilo Santana is looking for new challenges. World champion and two-time Brazilian champion in the gentle art, he will now make his MMA debut in the fifth edition of First Class Fight, which takes place on October 23rd, at the Mauro Pinheiro gym, in Ibirapuera.

Even as it is the debut of one of the main middleweights in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, Murilo is aware of his responsibility in this fight. “I'm only thinking about the 23rd, just that day, and everything will be fine. I’ve never been as focused for a fight as I was for this one.”

Regarding his opponent, Santana expects a complicated fight, mainly because Jorge Michelan has more experience in the octagon. “I expect a tough fight. Michelan is an experienced guy, but I have prepared well, with good training partners. I’m going to arrive ready to push hard,” he added.
