Another ranked fighter has been confirmed for UFC 198, an event that will be held in Curitiba (PR) on May 14th. Twelfth placed among bantamweights, John Lineker will be on the card at Arena da Baixada against Rob font, the organization announced.

The man from Paraná will make his second fight in the under-61 kg category for the UFC. In his debut, in September last year, Lineker submitted Francisco Rivera in an electrifying fight. Previously, the athlete played among the flyweights, but often had difficulties with his weight.
Font is 28 years old and won the two fights he has had in the UFC, against George Roop and Joey Gomez, both by knockout. His professional MMA record is 12 wins and one loss.
Expecting to receive 40 thousand fans at the Arena da Baixada, the UFC promises a star-studded card in May. Names like Anderson Silva, Vitor belfort, Mauritius Shogun, Fabricio Werdum, Ronaldo Jacare, Demian Maia e Rogério Minotouro have already been confirmed in the attraction.
