Now, the fighter's action has gone beyond the limits of the sport and has been endorsed by one of the biggest stars in combat sports, perhaps in the sporting universe.
On social media, Filipino Manny Pacquiao, multi-time boxing champion and second highest-paid athlete on the planet in 2015 according to “Forbes” magazine, released a photo in which he appears holding a note with the inscription “#CyborgNoUFCBrasil”, in Portuguese .
At 30, Chris Cyborg He has a professional record of 15 wins, one loss and one unsuccessful fight. The former Chute Boxe athlete competes in the featherweight category (up to 66 kg), of which she is the champion of the Invicta FC event, and the fact that the UFC does not have the division in its roster of fighters is the main obstacle to her agreement with the organization.
Manny Pacquiao has a record of 56 wins, six losses and two draws. On April 9th, Pacquiao will have what should be his last fight in professional boxing – as the Filipino intends to abandon the sport to dedicate himself to politics in his home country.
