Apparently, the debut of Conor McGregor at the cinema will be for another time. The UFC featherweight champion canceled his appearance in the film Triple X: The Return of Xander Cage (still no title defined in Portuguese) and will no longer be on the big screen alongside names like Vin Diesel and Samuel L. Jackson.
According to information from the North American broadcaster “ESPN”, McGregor, who would play the character Fergus, canceled his participation to avoid distractions in his career. The Irishman is focused on his return to the UFC after being defeated by Nate diaz at UFC 196 at the beginning of the month.
According to the United States press, McGregor is close to defining his next fight: it would be a rematch against Diaz at the historic UFC 200, on July 9th. The new film in the Triple X franchise is still filming in progress and is expected to debut in theaters in January 2017.
