The rematch between Brazilians Marcos Loro and Dudu Dantas, which will be worth the Bellator bantamweight title, already has a new date to take place. The second largest MMA organization on the planet announced that the compatriots will face each other on June 17th, in the city of Fresno (USA).
This will be the third time that Bellator has tried to schedule a second duel between Dantas and Loro, former training partners at Nova União. Last year, Dudu ended up getting injured and was cut from the clash weeks before the event. In 2016, it was Loro's turn to leave the fight the day before it took place, due to health problems.
At 27, Dudu Dantas has a record of 17 wins and four losses in professional MMA. Former bantamweight champion, with a successful title defense over Marcos Galvão himself, Dantas is coming off a victory over Mike Richman in May last year.
Marcos Loro, 33 years old, has a record of 17 wins, six defeats and one draw. Manauara has not lost since February 2013, when they were defeated by Dudu Dantas, and, since then, he has won four consecutive victories, including the triumph over Joe Warrem in March of last year, which earned him the Bellator bantamweight title.
