One of the biggest promises in the bantamweight category, the Brazilian Thominhas Almeida is preparing to have his first main fight in the biggest MMA organization on the planet. Thominhas will face the no less promising cody garbrandt in the main fight of UFC Fight Night Vegas, scheduled for May 29th.

At 24 years old, Thominhas has a record of 20 wins in 20 fights as a professional. The Brazilian debuted in Ultimate in November 2014 and, since then, he has won four consecutive victories, three of them by knockout. In his last appearance, the “Chute Boxe-Diego Lima” athlete beat Anthony Birchak in São Paulo, at the end of last year.
Who is also undefeated in professional MMA is cody garbrandt. The “Team Alpha Male” athlete, however, is much less experienced than Thominhas and won the eight fights he had as a professional. In his most recent appearance in the octagon, “No Love”, as he is known, knocked out Brazilian Augusto Tanquinho in February this year.
UFC Fight NIght Vegas takes place on May 29th, at Mandalay Bay, in Las Vegas (USA). In addition to the duel between Thominhas and Garbrandt, the main card of the night should have four other fights: Renan Barao x Jeremy Stephens, Chris Camozzi x Vitor miranda, Abel Trujillo x Carlos Diego Ferreira e Tarec saffiedine x Rick Story.
