Alexandre Cacareco was interviewed by Sensei Sportv last week and complained about the lack of opportunities during his career. However, after the statements the fighter's luck seems to have changed. This Wednesday, the leader of the Chute Boxe gym, Rudimar Fedrigo, announced Cacareco as the UFC's new signing.
The black belt's debut is already scheduled for UFC-122, against the experienced Belarusian Vladimir Matyushenko.
Cacareco is on an incredible streak of seven consecutive victories, all of which were by submission in the first round. Matyshenko, on the other hand, returned to the UFC in 2009 and accumulated two wins and one defeat, being surpassed in his last appearance by Jon Jones at UFC on Versus 2, held in August.
