Holly holm wasted no time after the defeat to Miesha Tate and consequent loss of the Ultimate women's bantamweight belt. After being caught at the gym practicing rear naked choke defense, precisely the blow that cost him his defeat at UFC 196, Holm did a session of sparring with the strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk.

Jedrzejczyk has a fight scheduled for July 8th, in Las Vegas (USA), when she puts her title on the line against the Brazilian Claudinha gadelha at the TUF 23 Finale. The duel also marks the meeting of the coaches of the 23rd season of the reality show, which will air in April.
