Now it's official! The first Ultimate event in 2016 in Brazil will take place in the city of Curitiba (PR), at the Arena da Baixada stadium, on May 14th. The UFC 198 card will feature a heavyweight title fight between Fabricio Werdum e Stipe Miocic as the main fight and the duel between compatriots Vitor belfort e Ronaldo Jacare as co-main event.

The big surprise, however, could be the debut of another historic name in national MMA on the Curitiba card: Chris Cyborg. With a current contract with Ultimate, but playing at partner event Invicta FC, Cyborg is currently negotiating whether he will perform at 66 kg or at a combined weight. The information was released on the website of the “Combate” channel.
Still according to the publication, the organization is also working on the possibility of transferring the duel between Ronaldo Jacare e Vitor belfort to another card if the return of Anderson Silva, against Gegard Mousasi or Tim Kennedy, will happen at UFC 198. However, the possibility that the two fights will take place at the same event cannot be ruled out.
