Undefeated in professional MMA, Holm is enjoying a great moment in her career, as, in her most recent fight, she defeated Ronda Rousey with a spectacular knockout in the second round. Winkeljohn believes that his athlete is up to date with her preparation and predicts a similar result against Tate.
“It will be a knockout in the second round for Holly holm. It will be like this, quite dominant. Holly is flying low, so I think she will dominate and perform well”, commented the coach, in an interview with the podcast “The MMA Hour”.
However, Winkeljohn made it clear that he is not underestimating Tate's abilities. “She’s the number one contender for a reason. She is very experienced and good in all areas. She hits hard, finishes, has very good wrestling. She has already beaten people in jiu-jitsu, wrestling and striking, so she is very good at what she does”, he analyzed.
Holly holm e Miesha Tate make the second most important fight of UFC 196, this Saturday, in Las Vegas (USA). The fight will take place shortly before Conor McGregor x Nate diaz, main fight of the attraction.
