When it hit Ronda Rousey in a dominant way in November last year and won the UFC women's bantamweight category belt, the former boxer Holly holm shocked the MMA world. However, if it depends on Miesha Tate, Holm is about to face an even bigger challenge on March 5th. The champion's next challenger, Miesha placed herself above Ronda and guaranteed to be a great threat to the “Jackson's MMA” athlete's reign.

“I have nothing to do with Ronda in my fighting style and I represent a different challenge and have much more to offer in the ring due to my experience, for everything I have already been tested in my battles. I'm definitely a battle-tested veteran. I know I can absorb a punch and punch and I'm not afraid of the clock,” Tate said on the North American channel “FOX Sports”. “They (the UFC) know that I am a big step forward in terms of competition. They know that, stylistically, I think everyone believes that I'm a bigger challenge to Holm's style. I present a different problem”, he added.
“I don't care if it takes 24 minutes and 59 seconds to win this fight”, continued Miesha. “I will be there and I will win. I will be patient when I need to be patient and explosive when I need to be explosive. I will be precise and calculating and I will do exactly what I need to do to win this fight”, she said.
Miesha Tate e Holly holm they will duel for the title of the under-61,2 kg division on March 5th, at the MGM Grande Garden Arena, in Las Vegas (USA). The duel between the rivals will be the co-main fight of UFC 196, an event that will have as its main attraction the fight for the lightweight belt between the Brazilian Rafael dos Anjos and the irish Conor McGregor.
