The Ultimate organization confirmed this Wednesday that the duel between Lyoto Machida e Quinton “Rampage”Jackson will be the main attraction of UFC-123, an event scheduled for November 20, in Detroit, United States.
The fight between Rampage and Lyoto will put two former champions of the light heavyweight category face to face. Quinton jackson lost the belt in 2008, after being overtaken by Forrest griffin at UFC-86. Machida, on the other hand, left his reign when he was knocked out by Mauricio Shogun at UFC-112, in May this year.
UFC-123 will also mark Ultimate's return to Detroit, where the organization was last at UFC-9 in 1996, when Hall of Fame members Ken shamrock e Dan Severn they faced each other in the main attraction.
