Many fans are already anxiously waiting to see how the duel of champions between Rafael dos Anjos e Conor McGregor, scheduled for March 5th, at UFC 196. For Eddie Alvarez, also a fighter in the lightweight division, the path is relatively simple for the Brazilian to obtain victory and, who knows, even “embarrass” his rival inside the Octagon .

In an interview with the podcast “The MMA Hour”, Alvarez gave tips so that Dos Anjos can win without any major scares next month. “For me, this is a simple fight for Dos Anjos to win, but he needs to attack on the ground. If he doesn't do this, he could get knocked out, just like all the other guys Conor has knocked out. I hate when I see guys who fight jiu-jitsu and are good at wrestling abandon their roots just because there are people around them saying that they have become good strikers. I hope Dos Anjos doesn't do that. I hope he stays true to what he is good at and wins in a dominant way”, commented the fighter, without hiding his support for the Brazilian.

According to Alvarez, Dos Anjos will be able to show the “mine map” to defeat the Irishman. “ There is a simple way to beat this guy, and no one does it. It's frustrating to watch. I think he [McGregor] will look like a fool. I honestly think the fight could be embarrassing for him. People in the audience might ask, 'What was that? Why hasn't anyone done this before?'” he added.

Dos Anjos, lightweight champion, and McGregor, featherweight champion, will face each other in Las Vegas, in the United States. If the Irishman wins, he will become the first fighter in history to simultaneously hold UFC belts in two different weight categories.
