Vitor belfort was present in the special seats of the Oracle Arena, from where he closely followed the confrontation between Anderson Silva e Chael Sonnen at UFC-117. Given the American's great performance, Vitor's chance to fight for the middleweight belt could be postponed for a second fight between Sonnen and Anderson. But the “Phenomenon” is already starting his personal marketing and stated, through his Twitter, that he would fight the fight of the century against the “Spider”.
“Dana (White), please give me the fight everyone wants to see. This will be the fight of the century”, said Vitor, who praised his compatriot's performance in the fight against Sonnen.
“He (Anderson) was a warrior, he took advantage of the only opportunity and showed that he is a champion. I hope he can behave like a champion outside (the Octagon)”, wrote Vitor.
