Negotiations for UFC fight marriages don't stop. According to the MMA Junkie website, the clash between Houston Alexander and James Irvin is about to be confirmed, with just Irvin's green light. The fight would take place at UFC-83, in London, on March 8th.
Houston has a record of 8 wins and 2 losses, in his last fight he was knocked out by Thiago Silva at UFC-78, in November. James Irvin has a record of 13 wins and 4 losses and comes from a controversial triumph over the Brazilian Luis Arthur “Banha”, when he won by disqualification due to a knee in 3 supports applied by the Brazilian, for many, Irvin would be able to continue in the fight, but claimed pain and ended up being presented with victory.
