Stipe Miocic took less than a minute to dispatch Andrei Arlovski with a knockout and score his fifth victory in six fights in the Octagon. After another great performance, Miocic did not hesitate and made a direct request to President Dana White and the top brass of Ultimate, demanding a title fight. At the press conference after UFC 195, Dana agreed with the fighter and said that the tendency is for him to be the next challenger.

“Who in the world is going to say no to Stipe tonight? He looked like a psychopath. I wouldn't say no. Yes, we are on the same wavelength”, said the leader, when speaking of the North-American of Croatian origin, who, if the boss's prediction is confirmed, would face the winner of the rematch between Fabricio Werdum e Cain Velazquez, who will duel again next February.

After the statement in the octagon, Miocic also reinforced his request at the press conference. “Yes, I deserve it. I fought outstandingly and I think I deserved it. I have one of the best camps in the world and I know Werdum x Velasquez is next, but whoever wins, I know I'll be ready. I don’t care, I just want a chance at the title”, he guaranteed.

At 33, Stipe Miocic has a professional record of 14 wins and two losses. The North-American of Croatian descent is currently third in the heavyweight category rankings, but the tendency is for him to swap positions with Arlovski, who is second, in the next list update.
