The epic battle against Robbie Lawler, in the main fight of UFC 195, may have been the last of his career Carlos Condit. The fighter revealed that he may hang up his gloves and retire after missing the chance to win the welterweight belt in an electrifying fight.
“I've been at this for a long time, I have 40 professional fights in MMA and kickboxing. I don't know...that night was a 'do or die' moment in my career and I felt like I gave it my all in there. If I had won the title, I would have continued fighting, but I didn't win.”, said Condit at the press conference after the event.

“I need to see if I can keep doing this. It's not an emotional decision... I don't know, I need to analyze it, but there is a possibility that this could have been my last fight”, added the fighter.
Despite his retirement speech, Condit did not stop analyzing the fight against Lawler. According to the challenger, he did enough to beat the champion.
“I thought I won, but it was an even fight. I didn't win, but I gave my all in there. I’m disappointed but proud of my performance,” he added.
Carlos Condit, 31 years old, has an MMA record of 30 wins and nine losses. The 'Natural Born Killer', as he is known, is a former champion of the now-defunct WEC and former owner of the interim UFC belt in the welterweight category. The North American has important victories over names such as: Nick Diaz, Thiago Pitbull e Rory McDonald.
