Middleweight Tim Kennedy hasn't fought in the UFC since September 2014, when he lost to Yoel romero. Thinking about his return, the North American refused to face Lyoto Machida and asked for another Brazilian: Vitor belfort.

A former military man, Kennedy was forced to reject a proposal to fight Machida in February, as, on that date, he will be giving a self-defense seminar to soldiers in his hometown of Austin, Texas.

However, on the website “MMA Junkie”, Kennedy asked that his comeback fight be against the “Phenomenon”. “I still want Belfort,” explained the fighter.

Kennedy is a fierce critic of Belfort, whom he has long accused of using banned substances. The 36-year-old American has already beaten names like Michael Bisping, Roger gracie, Robbie Lawler and Melvin Manhoef.
