The night was full of joy for Rafael dos Anjos at UFC on FOX 17, an event held on Saturday (19) in Orlando, United States. The Brazilian not only successfully defended the organization's lightweight belt but will also receive a financial award for the massacre over Donald Cerrone in the main attraction of the show.
Dos Anjos, who knocked out the North American challenger in just 1min06s of the first round. will take home US$50 as one of the “Performance of the Night” awards. The other went to his compatriot Vincent Luque, who submitted Hayder Hassan on the preliminary card.
The “Fight of the Night” was Nate diaz e Michael Johnson, who dueled in the third-to-last fight of the event. Both Diaz, winner in the judges' decision, and Johnson will receive the same amount of US$50.
