The information was revealed during the “UFC Tonight” program. However, according to Shogun's agent, Eduardo Alonso, the Brazilian is still recovering from shoulder surgery and has not decided on his return to the ring.
At 36, Rashad evans has a professional record of 19 wins, four losses and one draw. Already Mauritius Shogun has a record of 23 wins and ten losses.
Shogun and Evans were supposed to face each other in March 2011, in the former PRIDE champion's first title defense, but the American ended up being cut from the duel due to an injury and was replaced by the then newcomer Jon Jones – who beat the Brazilian and won the light heavyweight belt.
