Main star of UFC 194, Conor McGregor was the highlight of the most recent update of the official Ultimate rankings. The new unified champion of the featherweight division made a big leap in the weight-for-pound list, which considers all athletes on the squad regardless of category.

McGregor is now in third place, just behind Demetrious Johnson, flyweight champion, the new leader, and Jon Jones, former light heavyweight champion. The former first place on the list, José Aldo, who lost to McGregor in just 13 seconds last Saturday (12), is now seventh.
Also standing out in the rankings is the new UFC middleweight champion, Luke Rockhold. The North American appears ninth on the weight-for-pound list, with Chris Weidman, former belt holder, fell to 11th.
Yoel romero, who defeated Ronaldo Jacare in a close decision at UFC 194, he is now ranked second in the middleweight division, only behind Weidman (champions are not included in the list). Last weekend's events also represented good news for Urijah faber (third among roosters), Max Holloway (room between the feathers), Tony Ferguson (fifth among lightweights), Demian Maia (fifth among welterweights), and Tecia torres (fourth between the straws).
