Fedor: “I’m not a UFC fan”

UFC president Dana White does not deny his interest in having Fedor Emelianenko among his organization's athletes, however, whenever he has the opportunity, the fighter denies his interest in working in Ultimate. This Friday, in an interview to promote his fight against Werdum, the Russian declared, once again, that he does not want to sign with the UFC.

PUBLICITY:

“I’m not a UFC fan,” he said. “There are a lot of advertisements and advance promotions for their fights, compared to a lot of shows I've seen, there seems to be a lot of negative things involved in their events,” said Fedor, who made reference to the way fights are scheduled and how athletes present themselves in the media.

PUBLICITY:

“I think there are a lot of agreements…” said Emelianenko. “And also some actions by UFC fighters don't take the sport far”, analyzed the Russian who made a point of inviting everyone to watch his fight against Brazilian Fabrício Werdum next Saturday, at Strikeforce.

PUBLICITY:

“I would like to invite all fans to watch our fight, which I believe is more important”, concluded Fedor, referring to the fight between UFC heavyweights Brock Lesnar e Shane carwin.
