Babalu and Cyborg have a Brazilian party at Strikeforce

Tupiniquim party before the World Cup final! Brazilian beasts, Cyborg Evangelist e Renato "Babalu" Sobral They did well and secured Brazilian victories at Strikeforce Los Angeles, an event held on Wednesday night in the United States.

Facing the Dream welterweight champion, Marius Zaromskis, Cyborg showed all his aggression, combined with a patience rarely seen in the chuteboxer. Without getting flustered, the Brazilian attacked at the right time, working his kicks and boxing strikes well. After two good counterattacks, the Brazilian hit the Lithuanian who went to the ground, from there he finished the job with quick ground and pound, in just 2m38s of the fight.

If Cyborg's fight was quick, Renato “Babalu's” followed a different path. In the face of hard Robbie Lawler, the Tupiniquim black belt started the fight trying to take the duel to the ground and get out of the American's dangerous striking. With several takedown attempts, Babalu was successful on just two occasions, but Robbie got up quickly without letting the Rio native work his ground and pound. If in the first round the Brazilian avoided open play, in the second the story was different, Babalu landed the best blows, working well on high kicks and hand strikes. With an advantage on the scoreboard, Sobral managed the third round well, again insisting on takedowns, always well defended by Lawler. In the end, Brazilian victory in the unanimous decision of the judges, with everyone scoring 29×28 for Babalu. Check out the other results:
