Formiga beats Pantoja and defends Shooto belt

Held this Saturday, the sixteenth edition of Shooto Brasil featured seven MMA fights and a Muay Thai title fight. Among several good duels, highlight the lightweights Felipe Olivieri and Bruno Carvalho, who provided a mind-blowing and very busy fight, with Olivieri getting the upper hand and submitting the CM System athlete with a rear-naked choke in the first round. In the fight for the South American flyweight belt, Jussier formiga used his arsenal of takedowns to escape the good striking of Alexandre pantoja  and successfully defended the organization's under-56 kilos title, winning by decision of the judges.
