The partnership between Reebok and UFC to supply sports equipment and sponsorship has been marked since its inception by a succession of errors, mainly in uniforms and promotional shirts. For this reason, it was no cause for surprise when it was announced that the company had gotten confused and mixed up the names de Anderson Silva e José Aldo on a t-shirt. The gaffe, however, did not go unnoticed and Reebok itself publicly recanted what had happened.

“Unfortunately, an error occurred at one of our printing units. We are currently working to rectify this problem”, said a company representative, in an interview with the North American website “MMA Fighting”.

In addition to the numerous complaints from athletes about the amounts paid for the contract, the long list of gaffes committed by Reebok, whose partnership with Ultimate has been in force for less than six months, includes typographical errors in manufactured shirts, models with information problems and , more recently, the reference to Irish Conor McGregor as if he were born in the United States.
