Just a few days before the most important challenge of his career, Fabrício Werdum is in the United States in the final stages of preparation for the duel against the Russian beast Fedor Emilianenko, a fight that will take place on June 26th at Strikeforce. Between training, the fighter spoke to the blogger of SUPER FIGHTS Fernando Cappelli and complained that many MMA fans in Brazil are rooting for his opponent.
“I have received support from a lot of people, but I think Brazilians still have to learn to be more patriotic in general, and not just at the World Cup. I see that many (Brazilians) are rooting for Fedor, I think that's sad. On the other hand, it makes me even more eager to bring this victory to everyone who believes in my work.”
