McGregor suggests that Aldo runs away from the fight: 'I'll be there, I don't know'

Irishman said he warned the UFC that it might be too early for his rival to return, after the injury that took him out of their first duel

It seems that even today Conor McGregor did not accept well the fact that José Aldo having been injured and left the first fight scheduled between them. In an interview, the Irishman showed all his resentment towards his rival and needled the Brazilian, suggesting that the linear featherweight champion might not show up at UFC 193.

"I'll be there. I have been going through an intense training camp. I'm going to enjoy the beach atmosphere, take vitamin D and fight. Who cares if he's there or not? I'll be there. I hope he is, but I don't know,” McGregor said on the North American channel “FOX Sports”. “I told them, 'It's a little too early for Aldo, because of his ribs and his body. He will rush into camp once again… and he could leave the fight, injured, once again'. We're getting close now. All signs indicate that he will appear. I hope he shows up. Let’s see,” he added.
