Chris Cyborg did not have the pleasure of taking away the invincibility of his long-time enemy Ronda Rousey, but was still interested in moving to the UFC and challenging the champion of the organization's women's bantamweight division.

The Brazilian declared that she would like to one day be able to face the new holder of the weight belt, Holly holm, who impressively dethroned Ronda at UFC 193, with a beautiful knockout. For Cyborg, who normally fights in the top division, Holm “wouldn’t run away” from the fight and would serve as a good challenge.

“I could face Holly holm. She would be a good challenge for me, she has good boxing and would be a good fight. She wouldn’t run away from me because she can handle being punched, so it would be a good fight”, said the fighter, in an interview with the North American website “TMZ Sports”.

The fight between Ronda and Cyborg never got off the ground, but it has been speculated several times. The Brazilian stated that she will try to drop to 61 kg, as her objective was to dethrone Ronda as the best fighter in the world. However, the dream fight should be put on the backburner for good, as the UFC declared that a rematch between Rousey and Holm “makes sense” next.
