Brazilian Pedro Rizzo won again in the United States. The Brazilian heavyweight faced the experienced Gary Goodridge at Washington Combat, an event held this Saturday in the American capital. Better at striking, Rizzo punished his opponent with strong low kicks, making Gary unable to return after the first round, declaring “Pedrão” victory by technical knockout.
Another Brazilian athlete who won the event was Marcos Loro, who needed just one minute and thirty-seven seconds to knock out David Derby.
If Rizzo and Loro won well, the other Brazilians on the show didn't have the same luck. Gustavo Ximú was beaten by Jordan Smith in the judges' decision, while Claudio Godoi suffered an arm injury and lost to Ovince St Preux
