“I've heard things from people in Brazil, and in this sport when there's smoke, there's fire. Every time there is smoke, there is fire. I'm hearing people in Brazil who are not confident that José will take part in the fight. I really want this fight to happen, and I don't want to start a rumor here, but that's what I heard”, said Sonnen, on the “You're Welcome!” podcast.

The former fighter, however, did not reveal who his sources were, nor even what reason would leave Aldo out of the fight. The fight will be the attraction of UFC 194, in Las Vegas (USA), on a night that will also feature Chris Weidman x Luke Rockhold for the middleweight title.
