UFC women's strawweight champion, Joanna Jedrzejczyk wants to become one of the most dominant belt holders today. About to make her second title defense, the Polish woman didn't mince words against her next opponent, Valerie Letourneau, during a press conference held to promote UFC 193.
Jedrzejczyk even praised the Canadian's performance in her most recent fight, in August, but did not fail to send a provocation, which has become customary in her interviews. “Honestly, I watched her fight Maryna moroz and she did very well. She almost got knocked out in the first round. She's a great striker and I'm happy to fight her now before she gets even better. So, I know she is the right person”, commented Joanna, in an excerpt reproduced on the “FOX Sports” website. “[But] I know you’re already scared. I am not Maryna moroz and I'm not Rakoczy. I am Joanna Campeã”, said the fighter.
the fight between Joanna Jedrzejczyk and Valerie Letourneau will be the co-main attraction of UFC 193, an event that will take place on November 14th in Melbourne, Australia. The champion won the title in March and made her first defense in June, against Jessica penne, while the challenger won three in a row in the UFC. The main fight of UFC 193 will be between Ronda Rousey e Holly holm.
