Takanori Gomi and TIto Ortiz
The signs that Takanori Gomi is close to the UFC increase every day, Mister Bushido was present in the seats at UFC-79, on December 30th, at the event held in Las Vegas. In the photo below, Gomi appears next to the former light heavyweight champion, Tito Ortiz.
As has already been reported by SUPER FIGHTS, in November, UFC president, Dana White, already expressed his desire to have Japanese in the Ultimate Fighting lightweight category, as the 155-pound (70kg) division has the smallest number of outstanding athletes. Currently in the UFC casting, only B.J. Penn and the former champion, suspended for doping, Sean Sherk are the most prestigious athletes in America.
