“I'm leaving tomorrow morning for Canada. I'll be there to take a look and see if I adapt. But my jiu-jitsu coaches now are Chris Mango and Ted with Gracie Barra and they are awesome. I also have classes, so I can't stay there all the time and live. But I want to spend some time there, a week maybe, and see how things go. The Tristar techs said they heard about me, and obviously I always talk about how the Georges St Pierre He's my favorite fighter and I'm inspired by him. So, I think the time is perfect, to go there, meet them and train with them. It will be incredible. I'm excited, but also quite nervous. I heard that GSP will be there for a few days during the week, it could be three or four days, but the truth is I'm already excited to see him even if it's just for a year," said Northcutt, in an interview with “The MMA Hour” podcast.
At 19 years old, Sage “Super” Northcutt has a professional record of six wins and no losses. The young man debuted in the Octagon on October 3, with a knockout victory over Francisco Trevino at UFC 192.
